Chardonnay
Few years already it represents the pride of our cellar. This variety has repeatedly received confirmation from international wine competition.
Wine description
Grapes from two western winyard sites, with rich marly soil and low loads on more than 30 years old vines. Very ripe grapes at harvest, cold maceration for 12 hours, then a long fermentation and keeping wine on the lees (10 months). The wine has mostly matured in the inox, just part of it in the wooden barrels. In the nose the Chardonnay is ripe, juicy, and tropical. Reminiscent of melon, pineapple, persimmon. The palate is fruity, dry, and full, with an oily texture, even minerality. A longer after taste.
Matching with food
It goes well with creamy cheeses and pasta, lighter proteins, fruit, roasted nuts and other flavors.
