Chardonnay
A Classic from Our Cellar
Chardonnay has been a source of pride for our cellar for several years. This variety has received recognition multiple times at international wine competitions.
Wine description
The grapes come from two western vineyards with limestone soils and low yields on vines over 30 years old. Very ripe grapes at harvest, a short cold maceration, followed by long fermentation and aging on the lees (about 10 months). On the nose, the Chardonnay is ripe, juicy, and tropical. It evokes apricot, melon, and lime. On the palate, it is fruity, dry, fuller-bodied, with moderate acidity and a slightly oily texture. It has a long finish.
Matching with food
Pairs well with creamy cheeses and pasta, poultry, fish, roasted nuts, and other flavors.
