About us

Vinogradi Horvat is located in the Počehova hills, which rise on the edge of Maribor, the second largest Slovenian city and the holder of the oldest vine in the world. Our cellar is located next to Piramida, a small hill above the city where the history of Maribor began.

As a family, we have long been closely associated with the vine and its fruits for a long time. Earlier generations cultivated the vineyards on various locations in Haloze, but fate wanted this trademark - Vinogradi Horvat -  to start developing in 1960 with the purchase of the family estate in Počehova.

​

We are liable to continue the heritage of the vintage and the careful  way of growing and caring for wine, and at the same time upgrading it with today's knowledge.
