About us

Vinogradi Horvat is located in the hills of Počehova, which rise along the edge of Maribor - Slovenia's second-largest city and the proud holder of the world's oldest vine. Our wine cellar lies just below Piramida, a small hill above the city where the story of Maribor began.

As a family, we've long been closely associated with the vine and its fruit. Previous generations cultivated vineyards on various locations throughout the Haloze hills, but fate had it that the Vinogradi Horvat brand truly began to take shape in 1960, with the purchase of our family estate in Počehova.

We are committed to preserving the heritage of viticulture, as well as the careful methods of winemaking and wine care, while enhancing it with today's knowledge and experience.
