Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris – Golden-Yellow Character Rooted in Maceration
This is an authentic interpretation of Pinot Gris that reflects the tradition of our cellar. With its subtle golden-yellow hue—achieved through short maceration—this wine radiates warmth and familiarity while remaining varietally recognizable and highly drinkable.
Wine description
The small berries of Pinot Gris turn a reddish color as they ripen, with shades of reddish-brown and bluish-grey. Through a moderate maceration process, we craft a wine with a pronounced golden-yellow color. On the nose, it is fruity and soft—reminiscent of pears, yellow plums, and ripe apples. On the palate, it is gentle, with balanced freshness and juicy fruit character. The style is classic, rounded, and pleasant. A wine that convinces with its simplicity and authenticity.
Food pairing
With a small amount of residual sugar, it offers a gentle sweetness and freshness that pairs beautifully with poultry and pasta dishes, potato-based meals, wild garlic or pea soup.
