Our Characterful Sauvignon Blanc – Classic, yet Distinctive.

This is a stylistically riper and richer Sauvignon blanc than what we are used to in Styria Slovenia. With its clearly expressed character and complexity, it easily stands alongside world-renowned wine regions where this variety reaches its peak.

Wine description

The wine comes from carefully selected sites on loamy soils. On the nose, it is complex and precise – reminiscent of elderflower, tomato leaves, gooseberry, and hay. On the palate, it is slightly sweeter, with a nice balance of ripe acidity and complexity in the flavor. The character is distinctly sauvignon. Clean, expressive, and very long. This is a wine that offers more on the palate than on the nose.

Food pairing

Pairs well with cheeses, salads, pasta, and tomatoes, especially dishes with slightly acidic sauces.
