Sauvignon plus
Robust Sauvignon with a Touch of Oak
This is a mature interpretation of Sauvignon, enhancing its varietal identity with extended aging in oak. While remaining faithful to Styrian tradition, the wine gains structure and depth through careful use of barrique barrels and time.
Wine Description
Medium-deep golden yellow in color. The bouquet is intense and layered—we detect smoke, flint, hay, ripe grapefruit, and hints of oak aging. On the palate, it is dry and robust, with an oily texture and ripe acidity that beautifully carries the aromatic complexity. Aging in American barrique barrels (16 months) expresses itself through notes of coconut, vanilla, and lightly toasted wood. The finish is long, warm, and harmonious. A wine with a bold character—gastronomic, structured, yet clearly varietal.
Food pairing
Excellent with roasted poultry, grilled fish, and aromatic cheeses.
