Sauvignon Symphony
Sauvignon Symphony – The Recognizable Horvat Style of Sauvignon
A distinctive Sauvignon from the Horvat estate, where harmony between varietal character and the house’s signature roundness is achieved through a slightly later harvest – uncommon for Styria Sauvignons – and bottle aging. “Symphony” is not just a name, but an expression of balance and the unity of flavors.
Wine description
Delicate lemon color with a faint golden hue, hinting at grape ripeness. The bouquet is moderately pronounced and refined, showing notes of hay, elderflower, dried spices, and herbs, with a subtle touch of parsley.
The grapes are harvested slightly overripe, emphasizing fullness of flavor and an oily texture – a hallmark of our cellar. On the palate, the wine is dry, harmonious, and smooth, with well-balanced acidity and a long, calm finish.
After bottling, it matures for at least nine months, allowing the aromas and structure to integrate completely – the result is a Sauvignon of character and elegance.
Food pairing
An excellent companion to poultry, fish, and pasta with light sauces. It pairs beautifully with seasonal vegetables, especially zucchini and asparagus.
